A readable place to begin

ReadRungs, LLC aims for a public website that people can use with a keyboard, assistive technology and different motion preferences. The target is WCAG 2.1 AA.

What this build supports

The reading sample has labelled rung controls, keyboard shortcuts and an original-text comparison. Text remains available without the graphics scene. With JavaScript disabled, all five sample passages remain readable. Reduced motion preserves the content and stops animated transitions.

Checks and limits

Automated accessibility and mobile checks of the homepage passed on September 14, 2026. Automated checks cannot establish full accessibility; independent manual assistive-technology review is still pending for this release.

Tell us what needs work

If a part of the website is difficult to use, email support@readrungs.com. Include the page address, the action you were trying to take, and the browser or assistive technology if useful. Please do not send a child’s document or private reading material with the report.
